Day 1
 Arrive in Picton, gateway to the Marborough Sounds. Take a cruise and explore the Queen Charlotte Sound.- Visit the Edwin Fox Maritime Museum.
- Stay overnight in Picton with Host Accommodation.
Day 2
- Drive to Blenheim. Take a tour of the regions vineyards famous for it's Sauvigon Blanc, beautiful parks and sample fresh local seafood.
- Stay overnight in Blenheim with Host Accommodation.
Day 3
- Drive to Nelson, calling at the Suter Art Gallery and stopping to shop at the various arts and crafts outlets & vineyards along the way.
- Stay overnight in Nelson with Host Accommodation.
Day 4
- Drive to Marahau, the southern gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park.
- Hire a kayak for a self-guided tour. Alternatively, guided nature tours or cruises are offered from here.
- Stay overnight in Motueka with Host Accommodation.
Day 5
- Explore Motueka before driving to Takaka and visiting the Ngarua Caves en route.
- Drive to Farewell Spit and Collingwood, start of the Heaphy track in Kahurangi National Park
- Relax on the beaches of Golden Bay. Visit the te Waikoropupu Springs.
- Stay overnight in Takaka with Host Accommodation.
Day 6
- Drive to Westport. Explore Westport and visit the Coal Town Museum.
- Stay overnight in Westport with Host Accommodation.
Day 7
- Drive to Karamea, visit the Kahurangi National Park.
- From Westport drive southwards on State Highway 6, stopping at Punakaiki to see the Pancake Rocks and blowholes.
- Continue southwards to Greymouth and visit some of its attractions, including Monteith's Brewing Co and the Jade Boulder Gallery. Shantytown, an authentic replica 1860s gold rush town, is also worth a visit.
- Take any one of numerous guided tours that include horse trekking, eco-rafting, cave rafting, 4WD tours, wildlife tours and fishing.
- Return to stay overnight in Greymouth with Host Accommodation.
Day 8
- Drive to Lake Brunner, calling at the Moana Kiwi House and Conservation Park.
- Lake tours, pottery and arts and crafts are available from the lakeside.
- Lunch here before continuing on the Stillwater-Jacksons Road, looping back to State Highway 6 and continuing to Hokitika.
- Check out the many craft outlets in Hokitika or visit Westland's Waterworld.
- Stay overnight in Hokitika with Host Accommodation.
Day 9
- Take a scenic drive to Franz Josef Glacier & a helicopter flight that takes in Mount Cook and Westland National Parks, the Fox and Franz Josef glaciers and the Main Divide.
- Stay overnight in Franz Josef with Host Accommodation.
Day 10
- Enjoy a guided walk of the Glaciers, take a guided fishing trip or kayak Lake Mapourika.
- Stay overnight in Franz Josef with Host Accommodation.
